Im wondering if all your 4th gens are loud. When im on the highway i can barely hear myself when im talking or hear the stereo. I wanted to know what i can do to eliminate the problem. Maybe too loud of an exhaust. I own a stock exhaust by the way.
Any info would help.

 

Could be your tire selection, some tires sound louder than others. As for hearing the stereo, I just upgrade the stereo and speakers

 

your exhaust shouldn't be that loud. maybe you have a small leak/crack somewhere in your exhaust. tires, or maybe old weatherstripping that dont work anymore might be adding to it

i got some from a jcwhitney catalog. your local checker or trak auto [or whatever] may have some or be able to order some for your car

 

What type of weatherstripping is on a honda civic?? There are many types. I checked out that JC Whitney website. They have alot of different types. What type did you get???

 

unfortunately, i bought weatherstripping for a chevy project car that me and my bro did a few years ago. just take a close look at the weatherstripping on your car, make a lil sketch of if, and compare it to the ones on the jcwhitney site, and choose the one that looks the closest.
