Default What Should I Do?

Ok should i do a mini-me swap with my d16a6 and just get a VTEC controller? or should i build my a6 motor with d16a1 pistons and cam? and then mild P&P? or can i find a stage 1 or home built turbo that i can find for about $500-700? anyone know about this, i have right now only about $300 to spend but soon i'll have around $800 if everything goes as plan so please help me decide!! Thanks!

the 88 crx si had the weakest clutches of the ef crx sis...the 89 was a little better and the 90-91 had the beefiest stock units

so i'd consider a used 90-91 crx si flywheel, a stage 2 clutch and pp ~$300 for all parts and do the mini me swap since you can get a head & ecu both for what's left over

You're forgetting that the tranny has a differnt number of splines on the input shaft... But damn, my buddy Tom is setting a t3 turbo and boost gague with an hf manifold if you wanna go that route...

Actually, the 88 clutch has more splines than the 89-91, but the 88 also has a smaller overall clutch diameter. I actually have a custom clutch that uses the 88 spine but has the diameter of a 90-91. The best of both worlds.
