my car came stock with a momo shift knob, and its ugly looking its worn out and i was wandering how do i remove the knob. i tried unscrewing it and it still wont come off i think its locked on there. i looked around to see if i need to unscrew a bolt so that it would turn but still i didnt find anything.

have any of you dealt with this b4? i wanna throw on a 94+ teg knob i have.

 

If there's no lock nut on the bottom, look for some allen set screws in the sides around the base.

 

There were 3 little screws on my old one, u need a hex-head wrench to get them off.

 

ok well i was looking at it more and it looks like this, at the bottom of the knob theres a metal ring that looks like its part of the knob, on it says momo do u think thats the part i have to unscrew?ima go try it and ill let u know.

 

yea, theres usually a ring on the bottom of the knob that conceals the allen screws

 

yup your right i got the ring off and got to the allen screws. well i got it off and put on the integra knob. looks alot better!
