No.

A D16A1 from the 1986-89 Integra with the Integra tranny basically bolts in if you have an Si. A carbureted car will need to be converted to fuel injection first. You can also use the early JDM ZC. There was even a carbureted ZC, if you can find one.

"Browntop" ZC's, identifiable by vacuum advance distributors and the namesake brown valve cover. These are very hard to find at importer's shops, but they are around, I promise.

HASport makes a mount kit for putting the B16 into these cars.

if you have a DX you'll have some trouble. mainly because the car is carbureted and everything from the gas tank forward is different because of the engine you plan to put in is fuel injected. i read somewhere that you can avoid having to strip all the lines out by buying a Motec computer. i have an 85 DX and planning to do this next year.

my friend had an 87 Si and we did a ZC swap over a weekend about 2 years ago.

Any 85-87 CRX Si or 86-87 Civic Si will be easier to convert then the other 84-87 carb'd models.

FC's and 3rd gen Civics... you have good taste

Default d16a1

Hi i was wondering if there is any modifications i have to do to but that d16a1 into a 1987 crx si. i already have the old engine out and started rebuilding it. I am considering putting that engine in beacause of the performance options. Thanx
