the tip is what makes the exhaust so loud...the wider the louder b/c it creates an echo...i bought a catback for my pr5 with a 4" tip and it was annoying since it was my daily driver...i had the tip cut off the end and a 3" tip welded on on and it's much quieter (less buzzy)
