Are all D series throttle bodies the same?

I'm trying to accumulate the parts for the MPFI swap.

Does anyone have a tb w/ sensors kickin around that
they would like to sell?

Nope, there are too many bore sizes, inner designs, and bolt patterns to count. My TB, for example, has two butterfly plates similar in size to each other, while later models have a single large plate. Also, mine uses a rubberized brass spacer/adapter plate between the TB and the manifold, while later units bolt straight together without an adapter.

Depends. Which manifold did you want to use it on? I should fit a Z6 or Y8 manifold, however I don't know about an A6. The B series throttle body is too big for an unmodified or lightly modified D series anyway, intake velocity is a very important thing, in this case free-er flow may be a bad thing.
