A) why do you want a loud muffler?
B) any muffler can work on any car
C) why do you want a loud muffler?
D) you need to stop worrying aout what other people think
E) mod your car to make you happy, not to be fast. A DX AUTO will never be fast. Not really even quick. So, why waste the time and money on "loud mufflers" when there's so much else you'd need to do first to make it quick?

who cares about sound, i mean i do but thats cuz i have much more parts than just a muffler or cat back. DX auto, 1st thing get a Si tranny, if its a 1.5L just get a new motor (Si motor). then you can think about getting a muffler first.

Dude get a dynomax turbo muffler or a flowmaster 60 series if you want some loudness and if you have a resonator under your vehicle have it taken out that will raise the volume a little bit. I would suggest that you find a good shop to bend you some pipe and choose what you like to finish it off. I will remind you that the excessive noise attracts unwanted attention and gets very annoying at highway speeds. YOu could also try this

Do quality exhaust work the first time you'll be able to use that setup later when you do a swap. The muffler above should fit like your stock one and you could paint it black to be stealth and just have a regular tip put on, lastly do what you like so you'll be happy in the end.

Well if your on a budget get the dynomax and just have it installed just like your factory muffler and have them just leave the exit pipe tipless it will still look stock. If you don't want it extra loud keep your resonator or get a new one. I fully understand your wants for a muffler but I will remind you it won't be half as sweet as it sounds with a stick.
