Default Help* right speaker size?

my dad got my infinity 652i speakers for xmas, i haven't installed them yet. But they are 6 1/2's. What size will fit in my 91 crx si

i got the backs in...can i drill out the fronts to make the 6 1/2s fit?

I had to shave the mounting baskets out on mine just to fit 5.25's. You can always try I suppose.

and add a spacer so the speaker wont rub the window

6.5's fit perfectly fine in a crx besides the fact that the original speaker housing is too short, just chop off the back.. thats what I did.. And 6x9's fit in the back as well, you just need to bend the metal holders a little..

yes. always remember, you can do your own mods all you want, i grew up with an engineer as a dad =D

ok i put the rears in after a little drilling in the brackets, goign to drill the plastic housing out in the fronts...

any one have any ideas on getting the plastic cover over top hte speaker off? the part on the door? i always seem like i crack em a little...or anyone selling mint condition ones for $5? thanx

Yeah.. I cracked mine pretty bad... you see em for sale on ebay every now and then, but not for 5 bucks... the best way is to stick a really thin screwdriver into the cover by the clip and just pop it off. (unless its cracked there too from you doing that )
