Crx vs. civic ex
I have a 89 crx dx auto with 170,000 miles, my friend has a 93 civic ex auto with 140,000 miles once i get my intake and catback on who do you think would win if we raced. I ripped out most of the back interior, spare tire, etc.. So im pretty much gutted. She has full interior.

Mmm CRX has the easy weight advantage by I would say 300lbs. Civic EX I think had a D16Z6 which had 130hp and VTEC. Though since both are Auto they will be slow as hell, I don't think the Z6 with Auto will be that great. It could go either way really, but if I had to say I would go CRX.

nah, D16z6 will own vs CRX dx, i think. V-Tec will help vs just a catback and intake, you gain maybe 3-5hp at the wheels, if that, she will still be running 130 hp at motor you a lottttttt less, so i got with dx, if you had Si that would be a different story, 108 hp stock....

the civic weighs in about 2390 and the dx crx at 2103 maybe around 2050 without all the stuff in the back or a little less. The civic has 125HP and 106lbs-ft, and the crx 92hp and 89lbs-ft. Depending on the quality of the intake and exhaust you may have 100hp at the crank on the rex. I'de put my money on the rex. Let us know.
