I Purchased A 91 Civic Hatchback off A Guy. It Came Originally With A D15 But He Put In A D16z6 Motor From A 95 Del Sol. He Said He Used The Stock ECU And Distributor From The D15, However I Can Not Pass 3000 RPM'S. Its Starts To Cut Out Like A Rev Limiter And Back Fire. I Dont Know Anything About Hondas And I Was Curious If You Could Tell Me On What The Causes Might Be. Am I Suppose To Have A Check Engine Light Because I Dont.
