Update on Emissions & Thermostat?
What's up players,
chillen like a villan. Giving the update on passing emissions. Well, it wasn't my cat, fuel rail. etc.
I installed a set of plugs & on the TB where the flat head screw is, I just turned that clock wise all the way til couldn't turn anymore. Filled tank up w/ 93 octane.
Drove for an hr. When I got there while waiting I reved engine up to like 5K 3 or 4 times pulled in test area. Got out so the worker can do the test. When he did the 2500 K test he had my tach on 3K both times & pulled up. Printed my ticket & I was sure I failed again. Bamm (HC)from 715 LS-ECU) to 205 PPM (PR3 ECU) & (CO) 5.72 PCT to 0.07 PCT.
I'm so happy I passed because this ordeal has been a pain in the rear.
Have a question . Since I have a 1gen B16A. I need a thermostat because my heat get's hot & cold alot. Can I use a 99-00 Si or Del Sol B16 thermo or what thermo do I ask for.
