3rd gen civic/ aftermarket hood
I have a quick question for the 3G crowd, do any of you know where I can get a fiberglass hood skin, the type that is just the skin and requires hood pins? Thanks!

Well Harry, today is your lucky day. I sent an email to http://www.housemanautosport.com about a fibreglass hood they offer. Here is my mail:

So, in short, they have a hoodskin for $165 for the 1st gen CRX, but me and my 3rd gen Civic are left out in the cold.

I have a question regarding the 84-87 CRX fibreglass hood your company offers. First, is it interchangable with 84-87 Civic hoods in addition to 84-87 CRX models? Secondly, is it a hood skin requiring pins, or a reinforced unit that uses stock latches?

The CRX hood is a different panel to the Civic hood panel. It is a reinforced skin therefore needs pins and there are no provisions for latches or hinges.
