when i go to drive my car it start up right away but after i drive it for like 20 mintues and comeback home to get something i go back i to start the car again it won't start it turns over really really fast like it wants to start but it doesn't start until like 15-20 minutes later it's a 1988 Civic 4door.

i couldn't find were it was at could you give me more info on were it is and what do i ask for when i got to honda a mmain relay for a 1988 honda civic or a relay from a new civic.

 

check out your ignitor too. It's inside the distributor.

Normally it won't crank over if the relay is shot. Normally in this situation, the gear on the starter is toast, and it's time to replace it. Take the two bolts out that hold the starter in, and see if the teeth on the gear are still there.

Just smack your fuse box pretty hard a couple times when your trying to start it. Should start up, works on my car and my girls
