hey guys i own a 91 civic hatch and everything i start it up it seems to die the only time it will stay on is when i have my feet on the gas but right when i let my feet off the gas it dies can anyone help me????????

 

Sounds like a bad alternator. Is it a DX or SI. When you mean everything you start up it dies. Are you meaning lights etc.. See if you can get it towed to dealer or some shop to have checked out.

update.....i was VERYYYYYY low on oil so when i added oil everything started back up but i have 3 codes flashing on my ecu code 10,14 and,16 any help with the codes???thanks alot guyss

 

Sounds like you have a defective IAC valve, replace that first, should be ok after

 

where is my IAC located at?? i cant find it lol thanks guys

 

Should be on the intake manifold right on the back of it, or on the back drivers side of the intake manifold. I can't remember, been awhile since i had a stock motor. Either way it's on the intake manifold, don't mistake the throttle position sensor for it.
