does anyone with an 88 civic lx get good mpg cause i went 325.6 miles on 8gal of gas. thats just over 40 mpg!!! i have a 1.5 DOHC with the 16 point injection but some one machined it out to a 1.8 and i cant believe the mileage I'm getting. ppl let me know your best mpg readings i wan2 know if im the only one and if possable why so i can share it and save all my fellow civic drivers gas and $. thanx

Wow thats crazy, i get about 23 miles per gallon, but i've got a GS-R motor in mine and i drive it pretty hard. I don't ever recall getting 40MPG in my CRX dx though???? Maybe you've got a clogged fuel filter????

 

no way man its all clean i check everything once every 6months and i mean everything!!! its a mystery to me!?
