my buddy had one in his CRX b4 he totaled it

he ran a 14.9 on nitto 450's (****ty tires) w/ 2 different drivers, but on the street he beat my other buddy w/ a b18b in a 5th gen hatch that ran 14.7s consistanly. so thats kinda weird but id have to say that a 14.5 is a very possible time w/ the right conditions.

the motor is now in a 91 si hatch that he is waiting to get the new title from the state (it was totaled but he rebuilt it) and hasnt even started it yet

well he did crack the oil pan once pulling into my buddys yard (narrow street we have to park in his yard) whick was a pretty steep incline off the flat street but he also had skunk 2's w/ illuminas and there wasnt any figer gap in the wheel wells. b4 that he never had a probolem w/ a 55 series tire but this happened w/ a 50 series tire. which doesnt seem that noticable but it was....

so yes i gues there is an issue of sorts but all he had to do was piss w/ the skunk 2's and he woulda been fine

a good friend of mine runs an ef crx with the b20vtec and konis with ground controls and hasn't had any clearance problems...he also has the zc hood so it can sit higher

if you can afford a b20 swap then get a zc or aftermarket hood and let it sit the little bit higher instead of worring about clearance problems

i think u can prolly do a supercharger as well w/ some minor firewall mods, at least thats what it looks like. yea there is enough room for a turbo but u might have a clerence issue if u were to get a wider than stock rad (a la fluidyne) unless u do a 5th gen rad like the one guy on honda-tech
