Default Help w/E-Brake

When I got home from work today, my ebrake woudln't lock like it is supposed to. when I pull it up, it brakes, but won't lock. Any suggestions? TIA.

Is the button stuck, or the spring broke/out of place? You may just need to lube the moving parts.

bring a log with you to block the wheel just in case it rolls

Got home from work, ebrake didn't work.

Got to work this AM, still not working.

Went to lunch...STILL not working. Each time I'm hitting and banging on the button and handle.

Got back to work after lunch....it worked. WEIRD!!! I didn't even hit it or anything this time. Maybe if I'm nicer it'll respond better!!!! Weird!!!

sounds like it's not liking the cold. Should just need to lube it up. YOu can work the handle off by twisting it, but I'd go after the ratchet part underneith. Just takes a few minutes to get in there.
