dx or hf?

how do i tell if my 88 crx is a dx or a hf it has a d16z6 sohc motor(swapped)and has on the back where the crx is,vtech? please help.....sean

from the VIN number - the 8th digit in the number will tell you the model - 5=DX and 6=HF or Si

my 88 HF is JHMED8364JS026727
