bent a arm?
my friend in his 89 crx si ran straight into a curb. the wheel made contact with the curb. the wheel is somewhat straight. problem is it looks like the whole suspension assembly is bent back approx two inches maybe less. i was told possibly bent a arm? im not sure please help@!! would an aligment fix that? thanks agian guys.
Sadly there are no parts on an 89Si that are adjustable except for toe in and Caster. Caster is related to the radius rod going from the lower arm forward to the subframe or cross member. The chances are that the car will need a frame machine to pull the suspension pick up points back to where they belong if the Caster is really out. First stop is the alignment rack to see just what is damaged.
I do not recommend that anyone attempt to straighten a control arm-much better to replace it.

Take the wheel off and take a picture so we have some idea what you are talking about. It could be a bent UCA or LCA but sounds like a bent radius rod which is common in front accidents.
thanks guys. a frame/suspension shop pulled something or another to fix it. cost us 80 bucks well worth it.
imagine the wheel
