Put in some new injectors yesterday...
Well, I just thought I'd share my most recent modification to my 87 1500si. Over this past weekend, I stuck in a set of 86-89 Integra injectors in to replace the stockies, in an effort to ease the strain on the system... apparently the civic injectors were forced to work to hard to keep up with the PG7 ECU, screwing with the car's idle. After I tore it down, replaced them, and put it all back together, my #3 injector leaked at the fuel rail
Oh well, that gives me something to do next weekend, it is a non-driver project car right now.
BTW, does anyone know the best way to eliminate the #14 code that PG7 ecu's throw in civics? I pulled most of the cold start apparatus, and now I will have to put back in the IACV. Should I use the original civic unit (on/off) or an integra peice (continuosly variable)?
