Default add a cold air intake

would a intake increase more power for civic dx 92 5sp,would it save gas.

no and no way

dont believe all the hype about a CAI. They can help in situations when used in conjunction with other performance upgrades...but you are not going to notice any difference in power.

edit: I wouldnt spend too much on upgrades for that little thing. Maybe its just me but I wouldnt spend a lot of money on a little motor that could. Its a great little reliable engine that already gets good fuel mileage. You would probably have regrets later on if you do too much....If you are really wanting to still get in on the whole Honda performance thing you should research like crazy (there is a lot of info here if you run searches - everything you have asked and more is going to be here, also check out HT).

Sounds like you have a nice little fuel efficient car though....

i got it just for good gas,gas are expensive now.

On the lower side of the transmission facing the firewall. You'll need a 3/4 ratchet to unscrew it.
