Default Shift Linkage 91 Si ?

I have a 91 Civic Si w/ a B16. I was on my way home the other day when I was behind these 2 Big Dump Trucks kicking up golf size rocks. We know what kind of damages these trucks/rocks do to a window.I was cruising in 5th then went to 4th so I could pass the trucks when all of a sudden I didn't have 5th. I pushed clutch back in no use so I had to pull over.
That's when I could see my shift linkage hanging on ground.Had to have car towed. Will I need to replace shift linkage again.
This never happened on any car I've had.
Thanks

I've never heard of it happening from a rock, that sucks.

Obviously if anything is broken you'll need to replace that, and I don't see how there wouldn't be anything broken if the rock is really what did it.

If the linkage is bent I'd recommend replacing it rather than straightening it, just my opinion.

check and see if you just lost a bolt. thats an easy fix.
however if it is damaged and you try to straighten any bent linkage you could have problem shifting. or it could happen again.
