JDM s1/y1 cable tranny help!
Hello all-
I have tried searching for an hour now with no luck. Heres my problem-
I have a JDM s1 tranny on a b16 that needs a new throwout bearing. I have tried a 90 and a 93 integra ls/gs throwout bearing with no luck. They are to small too fit over the shaft. Anyone know a model/part number for a NSK or what ever throwout bearing will work for the jdm s1/y1 trannys? Or suggestions for whom t contact to try and fnd one?
Thank you!

There are 3 DIFFERENT Cable b-series Transmissions. based on casting, and year.
A1 90-91 RS/LS/GS (uses same clutch kit as Y1)
S1 92-93 RS/LS/GS (ALL 92, a most of 93)
YS1 93 LS/GS (A000 casting)(DIFFERENT from GSR tansmissions)(LATE 93)
YS1 92-93 GSR (B000 casting)(different casting from previous YS1) <--- YOU NEED THIS ONE
you got the 92-93 S1/YS1 throw out which are the same. the GSR(B17a dohc vtec) YS1 is beefier. that one SHOULD work.

I am sure the tranny is a JDM S1 but not sure of the year. How do you tell them apart? Is it the 92-93 us/jdm ys1/s1's have the large shaft while the 91 and down have the smaller shaft and the 90-93 ls/gs/rs tegs have the smaller shaft also?
I am havng trouble buying the larger bearing as the parts companys show the same bearing for gsrs and all other tegs. Any way I could get ya to link which one to buy from say orielys or autozone?
Thanks for your help! I wanna get this thing back together.

It has 24 splines. Ive been told its the bearing collar I am speaking of that is too big. The bearing I had bought would not slide over the bearing collar I have on my tranny. So are all US spec cable trannys the smaller bearing collar where as the JDM spec ones where like a 1/32 larger?
EDIT:
The retards at the parts store must have gotten me the wrong part or maybe it was a defect. I tried a different parts store with a 93 gsr as the car and the bearing fits fine. Thanks for your help.
