Default 92 civic wont start

Hi everyone. i really need help with my car. i was hoping to get some tips on wut could be wrong with my car. for the past 6 months my car has been dieing on me. First it was my battery so i replaced it. Then it was my radiator so i replaced it. Then my starter fell off and i replaced that. Then my distributor didnt work, so i replaced that. After a week the ignitor stopped working so i replaced that. Just last week my car died on me again so i thought i was my distributor. i got a good deal on one so i just replaced the WHOLE thing. But my car still wont start. I finally got it to start by pressing on the gas peddle at the same time as the clutch. It cranks for a couple of seconds and right when i'm gonna give up the car starts. Then it runs fantastic! I've been driving my car for a couple of days with always having to hold the gas peddle down. I've also noticed that everytime i start my car my clock resets. wuts goin on??? please help!!!

Check your battery cables. Make sure they are clean, tight and not corroded on the inside.
The clock resetting happened to me a couple weeks ago, it was the positve battery cable had internal corrosion, wiggling it got me home. Although everything electrical was shutting down when this happened to me.
When you turn the key to position 1, does the check engine light come on with the main relay click and fuel pump prime?

Same problem was my cables, positive, ground and check your coil resistance, 7.2-7.6 I believe.

The gas pedal factor is interesting. I wonder if you have a failing TPS (Throttle Postition Sensor).

Wrong year forum BTW.
