cast iron brackets......

Default cast iron brackets......

does n e 1 know if the cast iron brackets are needed to strengthen n e thing? can i just leave them off?

no, the 15 pounds of stupid ass cast iron brackets on the motor.

its a ZC and were not gonna use AC (its about to be winter anyway), and the ac bolts to this huge ass bracket thats like 10 lbs, also all that power steering BS on the side, it looks ike it could strengthen the block so thats why im asking if its OK to take it off

you can take off the a/c and p/s brackets b/c they only are not there for motor support...keep the intake manifold bracket on b/c it is needed

Agreed, those brackets are useless if you don't have the accessories bolted to them. I remember taking the AC bracket off a 93 CX... my god, that thing was heavy!
