Hey guys I have a problem lmao... Well on my 1990 Honda Crx now when I push on the brakes my door ajar light comes on and it beeps and my seatbelt light also comes on. Im confused on why it would do this and the fuse seems to be find what and where should I look?

Well, maybe.... check your ignition, when you press on the brakes, jiggle the key around and see if it does anything different...

In a old truck I had when you turn the key to the (on) position it would turn on all the dash lights and beep for a second and then all of them would go off, and then you turn it to run and the truck starts... Well, the ignition switch got sloppy and the key would randomly set off all the lights and buzzer as you were experiencing...

So thats my only thought...

only thing is if wires are melted together no similer grounds ,powers,or fuses go with mteng

 

I had the EXACT same problem. My solution: cut the damn power from the brake switch and run it from the fuse box. Now my brakes work fine without that annoyance. It was really annoying to me for some reason. Oh, and this is a typical problem in crxs for some reason. So if it hasn't got the rest of you YET, be warned it could get you! j/k.
I think the problems lies with the brake power wire, cuz I believe it actually runs with the seatbelt and door ajar lights. Why would Honda do that?
