Default 91 civic hatchback in a 92 4dr civic

I have a problem with my 92 civic 4dr ... the clutch is real real loose i and because of that i cant get into gear but when the car is off i could get into gear. im thinkin i need a new clutch ( plz correct me if im wrong) i have a 91 civic hatch back clutch and was wondering if it would fit in a 92 civic 4dr and if u kno what eles could i put into my 92 civic frum the 91 hatch back civic thankx alot

yes, the clutch disc and pressure plate from the 91 will fit the 92 - all 90-00 D-series clutches are the same - 90-91 have a different throwout bearing from the 92-00, but the disc and pressure plate are the same

if a clutch gos bad it wont grad (usealy)i would check your clutch cable ajustment first i an dumb sorry dident read i asumbed it was a crx it was late and i was drunk.could be low on clutch fluid leaking slave or master?the master leaks under the dash slave leaks onto the trans.there are you happy now kai

92+ Civics have hydrolic clutching systems... this means no cable.
