Default 1988 Crx

I might be getting a 1988 CRX for a drag car and was wondering what would be the best engine to put into it. I was thinking a frankenstien motor but what other options are there. I was going to totally redo the wiring so that is not a huge deal replace ecu tranny motor everything must go. All new gauges and such stripped out. I need to figure out befor i get it or decied to get it what all can be done. I am on a tight budget so nitros is a big factor and a turbo. My budget for a motor and tranny is about 3,000 USD. So let me know I would like all opinions pros cons and such even and most important is personal experience.
thanks

k24 with a k20 head. You'll probably need to modify (hack apart) the hood though. I'd say H22, because I have a 5G prelude, but I can tell you that our H motors just don't respond to mods as well as the K motors do. It is probably the most work to put in there, but once you get it in, it'll be the most bang for the buck. (plus the hottest. Not too many people have k series in a rex.)
EDIT: oops, didn't read the "budget" part of your post. For the budget, either build an Integra LS or GSR motor (B18B and B18C motors)

You can't get much for $3k. If you want a turbo, you are stuck with a ZC unless you know of a junkyard that will sell you a B18A1 for cheap.

Hondas are expensive.

could you post some pages to get motors from even the k24 I can build the motor all I need is the parts. I could also buy a full k24 my friend is going in with me and he has some big connections around town with notorious motorsports and other import places. I would need the whole thing like jdm sells motor trany and everything.

I read some more posts about the k24 swap and yeah that is way mro work and money for the power so i am going to b18 build and boost it so now where can i get one with everything and where could i get some good internals for it. so i can build it for a turbo nitros motor. And or firebreathin monster.
