Should I be running a higher octane fuel in my b18a1 crx than regular?

Try the higher octane and see if the difference is worth it. Its your ride

If it wasn't tuned for high octane gas, it won't benefit. I'm not sure you fully grasp what an octane rating really is.

Gas is not gas. If I put 87 in my car, it would blow up. Anything more than regular on a B18A motor is throwing money away.

i herd that all motors from the country japan (jdm motors).. actually require 95 or high octane is that true? .. i mean i kno you wont really find 95 around here unless its like cam2 or expensive shyt (well at least in my area) the highest at the pumps you'll find is 93 so i use it.. does anyone kno if thats true that jdm motors need higher octane.

Nope. The octane ratings are different in Japan than they are over here.

FYI, all 90-93 RS/LS/GS B18A1 Integras advise regular 87 octane due to their low compression.

if the engine has high compression (10:1+) use the highest octane available. lower than that and you can get away with using regular.
