How many trims are there for the 4th. gen hatch? What are they? SI, DX, etc...

Which ones have multi-point fuel injection?

Are there SI's without a sunroof?

Should I get this car? '91 Honda Civic It'll most likely go for less than $1000. (I'm 90% sure).

What should I keep an eye out for since it is an auction car?

Civic hatch comes in std dx and si trim levels. The si is the only civic with mpfi. I have never seen one without its sunroof. Since you probably won't get to drive it first at least start it and let it run check for noises from the engine and leaks and at least try and move it back and fourth. Check the feel of the brake pedal and definetly check for accident damage by looking at the frame for odd welds and misaligned bodyparts. If it has a 4 speed trans your more then likely looking at a std model. The bumper looks a little down on the drivers side and the front blinker light is missing so maybe its was in a slight accident. It has clear corners so you won't have to buy those. If this will be your only car you might want to take someone with you that know hondas that might be a better judge to a cars quality, but as always no testdrive means on the way home some problems could arise.

Oh for $1000 if its rust free and at least runs I would say your getting a deal but I live in rusty car state where anyone would pay $1000 for a rust free civic.
