WOA WOA WOA.......THe crank pulley bolt isnt reverse thread. What engine is this on!? I have replaced about 4 or 5 crank pulleys on cars, and it is a PIA.
Here is what I do:

1. Have a Second person in the car
2. Have them Step on the brakes as hard as possible
3. Put the car in 5th gear
4. get a LONG breaker bar, and get an impact socket on it and get a good grab on it and it will come off. ALso try spraying some PB Blaster on it too.

THats has worked for me every single time. It is hard is hard to get off sometimes, but as long as ur not a pussy u can get it off.

Yep, i broke mine a while back also. Life sucks when you don't know what you're doing, especially when you break expensive parts. As posted above, it IS NOT reversed thread. It's just a biatch to get loose. Fifth gear, the breaks being applied by a helper, and a long breaker bar should work. If not, a very powerful impact will git er done.

Not enough room, even with the mount out of the way... Just use an extension...
