Default CRX compatibality

i got an 86 crx(1st gen), looking on e-bay there is nothing...
but as soon as i jump to 88 and later(2nd gen) there is lots
anyone know what changed in the frame, will headlights and taillights fit?
if not is there any frame mods i can do to make them fit?

pretty much nothing but the wheels and steering wheel will interchange.

actually, if you look hard enough, I've seen mugen style body kits and other cool shit like that for the first gen crxes. My first car was a 87 crx si and I loved it. Somebody hit it and it got totalled. I was parked on the side of the street and this kid was smoking one, i think, and he got distracted and plowed into the back of my car. I bought it back off of the insurance company, and me and my friend rally raced it through his 4 wheeler trails in his woods after we cut the exhaust off and covered the car in graffiti. LOL good times.

You can't look at them and simply tell that they are completly different in shape and design?

shure unibody is diferent, but so is the integra and i got front and rear disks from it to go on my crx, i mean headlihts, taillights, signallights, seats, spoiler, power windows, wireing harness, you know.. i know rear suspension is independent on the 88 what about the bushings, will the front and rear strut bars work.

The 86-89 Integra is built on an altered 84-87 Civic chassis. The 88-91 Civic chassis has nothing in common with the 84-87 chassis.
