a compression test on a 9.2:1 Honda engine should yield 180- 190psi on a compression test. That's what my CRX yielded (9.2:1), and the Honda place said that was right on target.

The ZC's CR is 9.5:1, so how much would that change the psi?

The compression readings should be slightly higher than those listed above. The big thing is that there isn't a huge variance between cylinders. I think that the difference between cylinders should be less than 10% or something like that.

a better test than compression are leakdown tests where < 10% for a production car, < 7% for a daily drivable race car, < 3% for an professionally built race car engine

I have had my ZC for 2 years now and my compression was tested between 190-200psi last week.
