Fixing to pick up another Engine and have noticed I can get a d16a for relativly the same price as the d15b. my question is would teh d16 be a direct bolt in replacement of the d15b2 and would the DPFI manifold work okay with it. and im talking about the SOHC

 

if you mean the JDM D16A, it is SOHC VTEC engine - basically same as USDM D16Z6 - OBD1 - also essentially the same as D15B, except 1.6 instead of 1.5

 

A D16A6 will run fine with a DPFI manifold and computer.

 

Man I miss my JDM D16A.
