well i need to figure out what the yellow wire is next to the 02 sensor wire. theres a yellow wire and a white wire in a conduit that was cut on my car, the white wire is spliced into the 02 sensor and the yellow wire is just cut and not connected to anything. my check engine light is on i assumes its because the wire is cut. my car is an 89 dx hatch back 4 speed. it had an engine swapped with 90k miles idk if thruout the years they might have changed harnesses. If you could help me out itd be great. thanx

Really sorry for the late reply, but I was called out of town unexpectedly...
My diagram shows a connector near the O2 sensor with a yellow wire in it. In my diagram it says it's for an automatic transmission only. I wouldn't worry about it (unless you have an Auto).
EDIT: it's a connector for the Lock-up Control Solenoid Valve on the automatic transmission.
