Default Optima Battery?

I bought a Optima battery so I can move the battery into the rear.

I wanted to know if I should I run them on the outside or inside of the car?

Dont worry im not going to run them anywhere near any other lines or exhaust... I have insulated holders and everything is ready to go in, I just need to know where to run the positive and negative leads? Outside or inside?

hmm, I was worried about doing it on the inside cuz I have heard stories of cars burning to the ground like that..

Anyone else think it is safe?

When I bought my rex, the battery was already relocated to the back. The wire are run on the inside of the car. I was worried about it cuz the wires get a bit warm, but it should be fine if you're running a heavy gauge wire.

Wires are run inside the car, fuel and nitrous should be run outside.

Heavy? well.. I figured it would be the best battery I can get to put inside without a vented battery box, it says it is fume/leak free... I was planning on mounting it in the very back passenger side corner, or should I do it right where the spare tire was?

As far as weight distribution, what should I do? I currently have a B16 in the front, took out the spare tire, and lower interior from the hatch back.

Plans are Koni adjustables w/coilovers, and a rear stut/sway bar.

I dont like the battery in the engine bay, it just does not seem right...

Ideas?

NEVER run power cables on the outside of the car! Way too much shit can happen. I had double 2 guage in my teggy for the stereo, never had a problem.
