Default Need Swap INFO

Hey guys...New to the forums here so just want to say hi...and ask a few newbie questions...

I have a 91 Crx Si with a 92 ls motor swap mated with a ys1 tranny...Recently i ran into my cousin who's doing a swap also and giving me his b16A2 (99 Civic Si) block for free...hes doing a lsvtec swap...since i am a novice with all this stuff i was wondering if the swap is possible and what are the things that i would need...What about cable / Hydro tranny? OBD Conversion? Etc...

Also i want to rebuild the motor as well...nothing fancy...probably will just do minor bolt ons...so is it better to replace everything with stock parts or should i go for some name brand stuff??? What do you think the price difference would be?

Thank you guys in advance...and also sorry if i made any mistakes at all...

Do a search on the internet or on this board or on the handful of other honda boards. What your asking is nothing new and has been done 10x over, do a lilttle research. Hell they even make a book about it that will tell you what you will need and how difficult it is...

I have that book and it is very informative on just about all topics of performance for Honda/Acura motors. I highly recommend it for a novice that is in the process of learning because it explains things in detail and answered a lot of questions that I had.
