Default JDM D15B with a D15B2 Tranny

I was checking out the motors on hmotorsonline.com and since i dont want to really do a dohc swap on my car i was gonna pick up the jdm d15b long block and just swap that right in. But my first question is will my spare d15b2 tranny align with the d15b1 clutch and flywheel thats on my current motor and will that all mount together as in block/tranny/clutch and flywheel wise? i kno it sounds kinda confusing but the question is pretty simple. will all that mismatched shyt from different d15b's align and mate perfectly?

Yes it will fit because your still using a d series transmission.

For better gearing you can also look for the tranny that comes in the 88-91 Civic Si/Crx Si's. All d series transmissions are interchangable with d series motors.

it will all work, provided you aren't trying to use a 88 transmission with 89-91 clutch or 89-91 transmission with 88 clutch - not all transmissions on D-series engines are interchangeable - the one exception is the transmission that came in the 86-89 Integra D16A1 which doesn't interchange with anything

Forgot about the '88's being the bastards of the d series and that generation.

I didn;t know that about the 86-89 Teg.
