Default 91 Dx Swap Withd16zz Motor

Please advice,, can a D16Z6 V-Tech motor fit in a 91 dx civic and what do you need to go about it, Is it the best way to go or another motor is better just about to start this project.

Yes it will fit. There is many better motors than a Z6. If you boost it, it's another story.

A blacktop ZC swap would be easier to work with while providing the same results (~127hp.) You need to rewire the car for MPFI and it's pretty much bolt-and-go from there (for the ZC.)

zc no vtec. or any possabilty of it ever. i think the d16z6 would take the zc. and it has just as much potential. so its a matter of opinion if you want vtec or not.
