here is the problem.......the car died suddenly on the freeway. it is throwing a code 12 (egr valve) but as i understand the crx dx does not have egr valve. if not what is code 12 indicating? also the car tries to fire up but wont stay idling. it has a new cap, rotor, plugs, plug wires, fuel and air filters since it died. any help would be appreciated.

 

Yeah, code 12 doesn't exist for crxs. R u sure it's not code 11 or 14? It sounds like a code 14(eacv). When my eacv was unplugged, car would not idle when warmed up.
