i need some help, every time i shift into reverse, it grinds. do i need to fix the shifter or shift lingage or the adjust the clutch. Also i just got a short shifter and after i get the bood off the stock one, i cant see how it comes off. Any help with eather question would be great.thanx

 

-when was the last time that you changed your tranny fluid???

-you need to get under the car to uninstal your oem shifter and to reinstall your short shifter. You basically unbolt the linkage from the short shifter, then theres like a piece of flex plastic holding the oem shifter in place, pull it out of there. You may want to un hook the entire piece of linkage so you can reinstall it after your out from under the car.
