Radiator Swap
I've been looking for a 'how to' on putting a shorter radiator in my '89 CRX. I'd like the extra room when I do my turbo project. Does anyone have a link, parts list, or 'know how' on this subject? Thanks fellas
I think he means short width, but thicker core. I think they're called "half width" radiators, but i'm not sure. I would think that those radiators are simply "drop-in" installation. I'm not sure how well it would cool with a turbo though...
I hope he plans to at least use something like a del Sol dual core.
Anyway, adapting a new radiator to fit isn't too bad... it's on par with fitting an intercooler. You can fabricate new brackets out of steel stock, a drill, and a few bolts.
