just wondering and im gettin alil confused with this one do i still need a vtec controller when i have the p28??or will the modded harness activate the vtec?
i have been reading alot and nothing really says if i dont need it anymore.

oh sorry its a 89 crx si with a mini me swap, the z6 head that is. stock harness i was just gonna mod it or buy a modded one if i cant do it

 

No with a P28 u wont need a VTEC controller... Thats only if u wanna keep it OBD0, which I dont reccomend... I do reccomend u get the rywire harness tho... Makes installing it a snap...

Youll need the OBD1 dizzy (hopefully u got it with the head) & a 4 wire O2 sensor (stock one is only 1 wire)...
