Default 91 CRX Body kits??

Bought the daughter her first car, a 91 CRX hf. It's a nice car with low miles that'll be a good car for serveral years. My ? is, what body kit do you think will make it look really nice when I give it to her on her 16th? Not looking for weight vs hp issues, just looks...want the whole car repainted after the kits installed and some rims/tires too. Need some advice on the kit...thanks in advance. Some pics on the same car and what kit was installed would be cool.

Honestly, I'd do a lip kit versus a bodykit for several reasons. First reason is personal preference, I think lip kits look a lot cleaner.

Secondly, most bodykits are fiberglass and shatter. If the car is lowered (which it should be with a bodykit and rims/tires), the risk of her catching a speed bump or something in the road and shattering the entire bumper is pretty good.

With it being her first car, honestly Id keep it stock... For the simple fact of EVERYONE trashes their first car one way or another... And tell her if she keeps it nice for atleast 2 yrs, on her 18th youll hook it up nice for her...

But if you still want to get her a kit, I say a Mugen style Wings West kit...

Edit: Damn, Dave beat me too it... I had pics up, but go look at his car, its the kit I was talking about...

Its the cleanest kit there is that dosnt go to the extreme, but still looks nice, and the only kit I would ever get... Except for the real Mugen kit ofcourse...

Well the factory bumpers are plastic, but yea urethane is good stuff... Way better than fiberglass!

no.

h:
body kits tend to look stupid on those cars. the only car i would ever put a kit on would be something like an accord who's styling is lacking in the flare dept. so it's like painting on a blank canvas vs ruining a perfectly good design.
