i'm doing a swap on a 89 hb and want it to know if i need the splines or control arms and splines put help

 

If u have an hf, u need to swap your steering knuckles out for the si. If u have anything else but the hf, you don't need to touch the knuckles, the new axles should fit right in.

Oops sorry, didn't fully read that you're swapping into an 89 civic, not a crx. If u have a dx or si, you don't need to change your knuckles. If u have a std civic(which comes originally with a 4-speed manual transmission), then you'll need to swap your knuckles out with a dx or si's knuckles for the axles to fit.
