Default Finally got the pictures from my accident!

OK, I was cruising down the road on March 31st 2004, in my 1991 Civic si with a b16a and alot of mods at like 70 miles per hour and all the sudden one of my brand new Falken Zeix tires blows out (300 miles on them). After that I personally can't remember what happened after that, but this is what I was told from my brother (he was right behind me)....I lost control and was skidding head on for a telephone pole. Steered it enough to miss the pole and then hit a drainage hole with my right front tire and completely lost control. It all ended with me hitting an embankment and then a tree head on 6 feet in the air and landing on my roof. I got medivaced to Lehigh Valley Hos. in Allentown, Pa.
I had 3 broken ribs, partially torn ligaments in my kneck, I have a steel rod in my femur, fractured something in my back, severed front tendon in my right knee, 6 broken teeth, lost 4 pints of blood, and a broken sternum. I'm very lucky to still be alive and I deff. had someone watching over me!

Yeah, glad to see you survived that crash. I had one myself back in 1990 in my bug. I didnt have anything wrong but was just really bruised up. My back bothers me time to time.

I guess speed was the main cause but I wonder if something couldnt be done about the tire blowing out, I mean that could've happened anywhere so......yea

True, It was probably glass, a nail or something... The main reason why its safer to do higher speeds on the hwy is because they keep them cleaned reguarly for the most part, and they also have those fences, or a perimeter so many feet from the roads where theres no trees, so if u do loose control the chances are slimmer youll hit one...
