Default Question about transmissions....

I have a quick question, is there such a thing as being able to bolt a d series trans to a b series motor? I heard a rumor that there's like an adaptor kit. Is this true? Thanks for the help in advance!

I've never heard of anything like that

...but my question is "why bother?"

There really wouldn't be any advantage to doing so.

maybe there would be an advantage.....abundance of cheap d series trannys is one instead of 1000 or more for b series transmissions. also the civic vx tranny is really
L O N G. it might drop out of boost range but it would hold it for quite a long time. anyway......there was a drag racer back in the day. purple/orange/green crx. fastest all motor sohc at that time. he had an accord f22a motor inside and he was running a d series tranny i believe. i dont know why he wouldnt run a h series trans but i remeber it was something that should not have worked. he made the adapter himself if i remember correctly. i know it isnt helping your question but maybe it did.
