there is no room , it is a cosmetic look not functional at all if you want your rex to look like it has rear seats then why did you get a rex

 

Well, I didn't purchase one yet, I figured it'd be at least functional if they made it, hah. So they made a back seat for looks only? Intresting..Anyone else?

 

If your looking for pics there is a guy that selling one on ebay... they are functional back seats but very small... I wouldn't put it in unless you supper tiny like kids size 10 yrs of age or younder, or just want to make your Crx JDM.

 

You don't find the backseats in USDM CRX's because they weren't crash tested. For looks, ok, but not for functionality. If someone was in the backseat and you got in an accident you could be held liable for everything.

 

Yea I most definately wouldnt put kids back there... But thats about the only people that could fit... Its a nice JDM mod, if you are going that route, but otherwise its pointless...

 

Yes, it's also not legal to drive with people back there.

 

The Japanese aren't as fond of two seater cars as Americans are, the culture deems them impractical or wasteful.

The solution, add a set of backseats that are too small to actually fit a person in. RX-7's, CRX's, 300ZX's, and a few other cars are like this.

I use my 2+2's for additional storage space. They keep stuff from flying forward out of the hatch area too, creating a little trunk area. I'd imagine it would be the same for a CRX.
