why not get a JDM SOHC ZC VTEC? - they go for about $550 + shipping - easy swap and a good engine (basically same as USDM D16Z6)

I have heard that it can work but the rev limit will be to low and won't get all the power.

The fuel and ignition maps and rev limits will be off. 3 strikes. It doesn't work.

This thread is hard to follow but if someone asked if a sohc zc motor will work with a PM6 or Si ecu the answer is yes it will also work with a DOHC ZC but it has less aggresive fuel and timing maps so it will suck but it will run. A buddy of mine did the DOHC zc with the Si motor but quickly got it chipped with Turboedit and basically ran the ZC program. Dont know if this answered anything because like I said hard to follow this.
