Well if you are trying to do a compression test as i assume that you are, all you have to do is take out your spark plugs. Unplug one of the distributor connections and the car will turn over but not start because its getting no spark so you can check the compression. then once you get your answer put it all back together and go driving!
i can't remember but all you need to do is just pull a fuse for the PGM-FI and just turn over the engine...i'm thinking its the #37 fuse but its been a long time since i've done that on a crx
